About

I’m Ivori Zvorsky, Ph.D., a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in reproductive and perinatal psychology. My goal is to help people through the stages of the reproductive journey and to help them navigate the challenges that come with this process. This means helping you navigate pregnancy loss, abortion, infertility, birthing trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship stress, and the many other challenges that can arise from conception through parenthood.

This page is a brief synopsis of my training and therapeutic style. I hope to talk more during a free 15-minute consultation to figure out how we can work together.

Therapeutic Style

I bring evidence-based expertise to my practice, drawing from a range of approaches such as CBT, DBT, and ACT. In sessions, these approaches are carefully tailored to suit your unique needs. Imagine our sessions as a heartfelt conversation over coffee, where you can express yourself openly while exploring science-based strategies to navigate and embrace life's challenges. If I had to describe my style in a few words, I’d say…

compassionate, warm, yet objective.

Working together might look like:

Getting support and validation

Learning tools to manage tough moments more effectively

Learning how to challenge negative thoughts, expectations, and old patterns

Having a space to say the “unmentionables” of being a parent (examples: this sucks, why is this so hard?, I feel like a bad parent)

Having a space to say the “unmentionables” of thinking about becoming a parent (examples: what if I don’t want to do this?, what if I can’t do this?, this is scary)

Having a space to re-discover who you are (which is so much more than just the label of “parent”)

My style uses a mix of:

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

Motivational Interviewing

Relational Therapy
